Marilyn Biscotti

Marilyn brings more than 20 years of materials management experience in the functions of procurement, operations, product development, supply chain, and logistics.  Marilyn began her career working in the oil drill industry where she studied to be an Industrial Engineer.  Marilyn led several transition teams for several companies in relocation moves from reorganizing departments, implementing standards and procedures, to training/managing organizations.  Having worked in renowned food manufacturing companies such as Kraft Foods; Pillsbury; and Heinz Foods, Marilyn then served as Director Purchasing/Shared Service Universal Studios Hollywood, MRO & Foodservice.  As a corporate initiative with Seagram’s Wine & Spirits, Marilyn initiated and managed the Women Minority Business Enterprise (WMBE) program, identifying a niche market through diversity of vendors.  Marilyn created her consulting business to work as an Executive for Magna Entertainment, renovating horse racetracks and restaurants through North America to create the Magna brand for Mr. Frank Stronach.  This led to working at Johnny Rockets Group, Inc. as Vice President, Purchasing & Product Development. Her tenacity to create and negotiate programs resulted in generating cost savings and identifying operation efficiencies.  Marilyn synchronized and executed the supply chain function for restaurant openings of more than ten countries which include Canada, Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Cyprus, and various Royal Caribbean Cruise Line ships.  Her contribution to Johnny Rocket’s successful growth plan also included Franchise presentations to perspective Buyers.  Marilyn then ventured into the Insurance industry having worked at First American and Auto Club Enterprise. In giving back to the community, Marilyn founded ‘Life is Forever Transitioning’, a non-profit organization to empower youths to transition into adolescence through education, mentorship, and community outreach programs.
