This was my first time attending a ProcureCon event…

…I was referred by my VP who had received an email. He couldn’t make it but he thought I might be interested and got me in touch with a sales person.

The draw to attend the event was…

…I saw some big company names in the speaker line up – Toyota, BNY Mellon, etc. That got my attention. Not to mention that there just aren’t enough conferences purely focused on the facilities side of procurement.

I did a presentation on the innovation trends I learned from the conference...

…At the conference, I was very impressed by the cross selection of companies present. The content presented was very interesting and I took back a whole bunch of notes on innovations and trends in the industry. I did a presentation about all that I learned to the global head and my operating team. We’re looking to implement some of these strategies in the upcoming months.

So, yes, I would consider my time spent at the event very valuable!

I am already looking forward to the 2019 conference…

The time I spent at the event was definitely well spent. I was able to bring back valuable strategies and present them to my team. The event was a perfect platform for my peers to get together and discuss flexible innovation and agile strategies to implement at our businesses. I am hoping to reconnect with some of these peers next year and talk to them about the results I’ve seen implement these ideas.
